Raita BioKem XL sewage cleaner, pumping station, efficient sewage treatment

The waste water from all properties is led along sewage network to Raita BioKem XL. The pipeline functions with gravity or it is pressurized (with pumping station).

During BIO processes, the microbes use organic matter and phosphorus as food, the nitrogen is reduced by nitrification, and denitrification. Raita's SMART system software adds optimal processes conditions.

Phosphorus removal is improved simultaneously with KEM- process (RAKE iron salt-liquid). The treatment plant works and adjusts itself automatically for the incoming sewage volume.

Variations does not affect the BIO and KEM processes. In the event of a shutdown, SMART maintains the circulation biological readiness for several months.

The SMART sludge treatment works in parallel with The BIO and KEM processes. The small amount (2-4 liters / m3 treated wastewater) excess sludge collected in a sludge tank or in a composter. When using a composter there is no need to empty with sludge truck.
