For phosphorus removal in waste water ~ dosage 1-3dl / m3
RAKE phosphorus precipitation chemical
- contains iron salt (ferric sulfate) and anti-foaming agent (reducing the waters surface tension)
RAKE phosphorus precipitation chemical has been developed for precipitation of phosphorus contained in wastewater. It has been developed for variable load situations, which is characteristic of smaller wastewater treatment plants.
The phosphorus (phosphate) contained in the wastewater is precipitated at the end of the cleaning process. It reacts with RAKE and settles at the bottom of the tank as sludge.
When the organic load varies, foam is formed in connection with biological cleaning, which complicates the cleaning process. RAKE contains an antifoam agent that reduces the surface tension of water and ensures biological and chemical cleaning.
